Heat Treatment wood

Fumico Bio & QPS Services , located in Numansdorp, perform heat treatments on wooden products. This way of treating wood is bases upon the regulations stated in ISPM 15. Aim is to eliminatie insects in wooden packaging material, dunnage, pallet wood and for example boxes and crates demanding to be treated this way.

When certain countries has import regulations for wooden dunnage or packaging material you will find these in a list of countries of Heat Treatments ISPM 15, you are not allowed to export to these countries without considering these regulations.  Export is allowed after an approved Heat Treatment.

Wooden crates and boxes are suitbale to undergo such a treatment. Often Fumico will perform a heat treatment on crates, boxes and packaging wood in export containers but obviously this also counts for the elimination of exotic insects for containers to be imported into a country.

An extra quality guarantee may be realized when we take care of providing an official seal of customs goods. After treatment customs will officially seal the container. Issuing a Phytosanitary Certificate is also possible.
